The Chronicles of Divinia
Timeline of Divinia
Divinia is a world shaped by centuries of myth, conflict, and quiet moments that history almost forgot.
This timeline brings those events together in chronological order – from the earliest whispers of creation to the unfolding struggles that define the present age.

Rather than following the order in which the stories were released, this record traces Divinia as it truly unfolded. Wars, Trials, discoveries, and personal turning points sit side by side, revealing how each moment echoes through those that follow.

Whether you are a first-time explorer or a returning reader, this timeline offers a deeper understanding of how Divinia became what it is today.

Timeline of Divinia
Year 0 – The Beginning of Time
Year 50 – Taren the Chronicler Sets Forth
Year 1,000 – The Birth of the Gods
From the formless void, Aetherion wills Divinia into existence. Land, sky, and aether take shape, bound by balance and intent. Time begins its first measured breath as magic settles into the world, laying the unseen foundations for gods, mortals, and every story yet to unfold across all ages to come.
Driven by curiosity rather than conquest, Taren the Chronicler begins his journey across Divinia. Recording lands, peoples, and wonders as he encounters them, his writings offer one of the earliest mortal perspectives on the world – part travelogue, part reflection, and part quiet search for meaning.

From his own essence, Aetherion creates seven gods, each formed from a different aspect of his power and will. Entrusted with the governance of Divinia, they are charged with maintaining balance, shaping the world, and guiding its future – a responsibility that will define the ages to come.
Year 1,050 – The Eternal Slumber
Year 1,115 – The Great War of Divinia
Year 1,125 – The Age of Concordia Begins
Aetherion withdraws from the world, placing himself into an eternal sleep beneath Concordia. Freed from his direct influence, the seven gods reshape Divinia in their own image, dividing the land into seven distinct regions – each claimed, ruled, and shaped according to their individual nature.
Tensions between the newly formed regions erupt into open conflict, as rivalry and ambition spread among gods and mortals alike. Control slips from divine hands until Thoros intervenes, brutally suppressing the peoples’ rebellion and restoring order through fire, fear, and overwhelming force.
The Great War of Divinia draws to a close, and the gods impose new rulings to preserve a fragile peace. Concordia is declared a neutral region – home to the gods and the newly formed Celestial Council, a body of mortal representatives from every land, led by an elected High Emissary.
To prevent further rebellion, the gods establish the Celestial Trials – an annual contest held in Concordia, where chosen champions compete for regional dominance. Though presented as a symbol of balance and unity, the Trials ensure divine control endures.
The Celestial Council oversees the Trials and manages the day-to-day affairs of Divinia, while the gods rule from above, issuing decrees through them. Other selected mortals serve in Concordia, maintaining order at the heart of the world.
Year 1,126 – The First Celestial Trials
Year 1,955 – Ferroxia’s Last Victory
Year 1,994 – The Last Trials Before War
The inaugural Celestial Trials are held in Concordia, marking a new era of controlled rivalry between the regions. Champions are chosen, allegiances tested, and the balance of power is publicly decided for the first time.
These formative events will be explored in The Birth of Divinia – a standalone prequel novel, scheduled for release in 2029.
Ferroxia claims victory in the Celestial Trials for the final time, secured by the formidable champion Varro Ashbane. His triumph cements the region’s reputation for strength and dominance, a legacy that endures long after its influence begins to wane in the years that follow.
The final Celestial Trials before the outbreak of the Border Wars are held in Concordia. Tempestus claims victory, shifting the balance of power and heightening regional tensions. Beneath the ceremony and spectacle, the fragile peace begins to fracture, setting Divinia on a path toward open conflict.
